Uniform Parking Bail

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Yorba Linda City Council will hold a Public Hearing in the Council Chambers located in City Hall, 4845 Casa Loma Avenue, Yorba Linda, beginning at 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, on TUESDAY, MAY 19, 2009 to consider the following item:

PUBLIC HEARING RE: AUTHORIZATION TO INCREASE UNIFORM PARKING BAIL SCHEDULE

In July of 1990, the City Council adopted changes to the Uniform Parking Bail Schedule at the recommendation of the Police Department. An examination of the Uniform Parking Bail Schedule revealed that there are several changes necessary to align Yorba Linda's current bail schedule with the county average and reflect current cost of enforcement. Yorba Linda City Code section 10.68.010 adopted the current bail schedule. Yorba Linda City Code section 10.68.020 states "The bail schedule shall be subject to annual review by the city council and may be changed through resolution as deemed necessary by the city council. (Ord. 90-672 §2, 1990)"

ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited to express opinions upon the item listed above. If you challenge the nature of this proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this Notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the YORBA LINDA CITY COUNCIL at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
