Who Needs a Business License?

Individuals who live in the city using their home as an office, businesses located in the city, and licensed contractors operating in the city are all required to have a business license.

Additional Regulations are required for the Residential Business License.

The City of Yorba Linda allows home occupations in most residential zoning districts. A home occupation is an occupation or business activity which results in a product or service that is conducted in part of a dwelling unit. A residential business license certificate is required before a home occupation can begin operation. Please refer to the "Residential Business License" section for regulations.
